This top is a beautiful Peanut colour top. One of the most difficult and time-consuming methods of fabric patterning is Ikat weaving, which is used to make the orange Ikat top. In this long-standing tradition, the weavers are extremely skilful. The design mysteriously reappears as the pre-dyed weft threads are woven into the fabric. It truly is astonishing how everything comes together in this way and how nicely all the measuring, dying, and spooling were prepared. Since hundreds of years ago, the tools haven't changed, making them crude.
